Mandl,Louis J. - Louis J. Mandel of Manahawkin, N.J. passes away of February 17, 2025 at the age of 90.  Louis served with VA-106 and was a member of our Reunion Group, attending many reunions.  He will me missed by all.

 

 

 

 

                   

                   

Coe, Robert "Bob" -  It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of one of our former Commanding Officers Bob Coe,  who passed away on Nov. 18, 2025, at the age of 90. in his hometown of Gladstone, Mo.

 

Bob served as a with VA-106 from 1955 to 1959 as an Aviation Electronics Technician. 

 

He was one of the original founders of our Reunion Group serving as Squadron Historian from 2000 through 2007.  He then served as our squadron’s third Commanding Officer from 2008 through 2015.

 

We take comfort in knowing that Bob is at peace and reunited with those who have gone before him.  Bob will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will cherish the memories we shared with him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Coe family.
